ZOMG! A stamp! Anyways, I made this up (MSPaint ftw) because I noticed something a little while ago. Riddle me this: when was the last time that you saw a piece of literature (whether prose or poetry) as a deviation on the front page? I know that this place is deviantART, and a lot of people assume that ART means visual graphics or the like, but literature is art too. Post this if you agree with me, that we writers out here get a pretty bum wrap.
I agree. Also so many deviantart writers are over looked because people don't take the time to go through writer's galleries. On average, since I am not very popular on this site, my poetry only gets about five to ten views, then is never looked at again. I have a few short stories that have a great message, that haven't been looked at in weeks. It really hurts me. I also have many friends who like the write, but they don't get enough views because many members of the deviantart community aren't interested in writing.
Sorry if I am going on and on, just when I start writing something I can't always stop.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
