So, as many of you know, I'm busy compiling my List ([link]) of PS2 games to collect before it's phased out by Sony. So, I stop in at the GameStop off Jonestown road close to my house, and ask if anywhere has a copy of Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Summoner 1, since Devil Summoner 2 is coming out in May.

They say that, OMG, YES, there is a copy, located at the pretty darn close High Pointe Commons shop. How much, I ask? $14.99. Is it there for sure, I ask? They call and confirm it is there. I hope my ol' car and drive down 283 for a few minutes, and pop on over. I go in, and make my purchase, while noticing something odd about the disc- it says Digital Devil Saga, another one of the games. I brush it off and go home, thinking it's a case of "the series wasn't popular yet so they didn't brand their games 100% perfectly" syndrome.

I come home and slide it into my PS2, and something seems off. Not only is it not what I was expecting, but it also says Digital Devil Saga on the game! I do a bit of research, and I find that I was indeed, sold not Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Summoner 1, but Shin Megami Tensei: Digital Devil Saga 1!!!

So I do a bit more research... and I came out on top here. Turns out that Digital Devil Saga is worth more... about $20 more than what I payed, going used for $34.99 instead of the $14.99 I payed for it! AND it was on my list anyway! So I got a rockin' new game I wanted to get, just not in the way I was expecting.
