Okay, so I wanna make myself a new deviantID. So I decide to browse around, because I'm not the 100% artistic type. I do a search for deviantID templates, and go in, and lo and behold, there's a ton of cool ones. I decide to make one, being excited. I figure I can just download the file and toy around with it.

Well, I could do that.

If I had fucking photoshop.

EVERYTHING'S IN A GODDAMN PSD FILE. WHAT THE FUCK. JUST BECAUSE I DON'T HAVE PHOTOSHOP DOESN'T MEAN I COULD POSSIBLY WANT TO MAKE MYSELF AN ID OR USE THEIR FILE?

Is it so hard to make a jpeg or bmp available of the file so that we can use it? Purely blank or something? Something that ISN'T only usable in an overpriced program that I wouldn't use anyway since I'm a writer? It just pisses me off so much!

Now, I know this probably isn't fair, since I don't have the skills to make one I don't have the right to blah blah blah...

I'm just annoyed ranting right now, and I have a lot of respect for people that went to the trouble to make their own ID things.

Still pisses me off in a major way.
